21 novembre 1965. Esattamente 60 anni fa… emozioni, ricordi, attese, promesse… ma anche fatica, cammino in salita e tanta pazienza. L’unione dei Collegi di Maria, – cercata, voluta, sofferta, desiderata – giungeva al termine. E mentre si chiudeva un capitolo di storia, se ne apriva un altro tutto da inventare, da costruire e da custodire. Un’unione che non annullava le diversità ma le amalgamava dentro un unico pentagramma, capace di far vibrare le ricchezze e le bellezze di ogni realtà. E quell’immagine in se stessa potente di un solo cuore che ne contiene tre (come appare nella navata centrale della Chiesetta del Collegio al Carmine) diventava la rappresentazione di una comunione divina e umana da cui sarebbe scaturito il nostro camminare verso orizzonti sempre più ampi, ad altezza del cuore di Dio. Ringraziamo il Signore per questo giorno e per questo dono. Ringraziamo il Signore per le donne sante, le nostre consorelle, che lo hanno voluto e desiderato. Ringraziamo il Signore perché questo dono, non compiuto ancora, ci mette continuamente in stato di ricerca e di passione, di conversione e di speranza. Questo dono che cammina con i nostri piedi e pensa con le nostre intelligenze e decide con la nostra volontà ed ama col nostro cuore. Custodiamo questo dono e facciamolo fruttificare: per continuare ad essere un segno della presenza di Dio che ama ogni uomo.
Con sentimenti di profonda gratitudine al Signore, auguro a ciascuna di voi di sentirsi parte viva di questo progetto che ha bisogno del respiro di tutte per volare alto e per realizzarsi come Lui vuole.

21st of November 1965. Exactly 60 years ago… emotions, memories,waitings, promises…but also effort, uphill walking and a lot of patience. The unity of the Colleges of Mary-truly pursued, wished, suffered- was going to end. While closing a chapter of a story, it was going to start another one, to be invented, to build up and to preserve. An unity that didn t delete the differences as it led all them towards the same staff, good at making vibrating the richness and the beauty of every reality. The pictures of an hearth with three ones inside it, as you can see in the beautiful church in the College of Carmine, became the presentation of a human and divine communion where our walking towards wider and wider horizons, at height of God, would come from. We thank God for this day and for this gift. We thank God for the holy women, our sisters who wanted and wished it. We thank God because this gift, that hasn t been accomplished yet, helps us to be in an improving condition to look for and be rich of passions, to be improved and full of hope. This gift which walks by our feet and thinks by our understanding and makes decision by our will and loves by our heart… Let’ s guard this gift and let’s make it full of fruits: to go on being a sign of the presence of God who loves each man. Being rich of gratitude to God, I wish to each of you to feel as a living part of this plan that needs the breath of everyone to fly up and be accomplished as He wished. Grazie alla madre per averci ricordato questa data memorabile. Il nostro presente e il nostro futuro si radica sul passato che è da considerarsi come un dono vivente gravido di stimoli forti e significativi per il percorso spirituale e carismatico della nostra Congregazione, percorso che passa dal contributo di ciascuna di noi. Grazie di cuore alla madre e a tutte le suore collegine per l’impegno profuso ad essere membri della stessa famiglia religiosa, animata dal medesimo progetto di vita, lasciatoci in eredita dal nostro fondatore, il venerabile cardinale Pietro Marcellino Corradini. Possa Dio aiutarci a riconoscere la sua santità.

Thanks a lot to the General mother as she remembered us this memorable date. Our present and our future has been rooted on the past which is to be considered as a living gift rich of strong and meaningful urges for the spiritual and charismatic journey of our Congregation, journey which welcomes the contribution of each of us. A deeply thanking to the General mother and to the Collegine sisters for the committement made to be a member of the same religious family, whose soul has been led by the same plan of life, left as an heritage by our founder, the venerable cardinal Pietro Marcellino Corradini
